A bewildering reality
It’s not the data and statistics that are lacking to highlight the essential basic needs of Quebecers. In the Matanie region, more than 500 families are living with urgent clothing needs. This is where generosity plays a vital role.
In 2024, 140 families and single individuals benefited from our donations of clothing and various food items. However, we struggle to meet all the needs of our community.
That’s why this year, our company is leveraging its expertise in clothing to make a concrete difference for families. We thus wish to collect and offer warm and new clothing to this clientele in need. This initiative is prepared throughout the year thanks to the collection of clothing and samples received from our various partners.
Our goal is clear: to distribute new clothes to restore dignity and comfort to families.
As the lists of beneficiaries grow longer, we notice that many families with young children are part of them. This prompts us to seek new support from other partners in order to enhance our range of clothing for children and juniors. With its expertise in clothing manufacturing, our team remains confident in achieving this.
The effectiveness of Sharing Day
Thanks to the involvement of Arseno’s employes, we carefully prepare, in just one day, all the clothes to be offered, presented in pretty gift boxes.
In the midst of the Centraide 2025 campaign, the three co-owners of Arseno proudly assume the co-presidency of Centraide Bas-Saint-Laurent. Their generosity, which has become a true habit, is a value they wish to perpetuate over time.
